Sunday School

Our vision: That children and youth feel, know, and share God's love.

In Sunday School, children grow in faith as they experience the Bible stories of God’s love. Caring volunteers share their faith with children as they learn together through storytelling, music, games, drama, art, and acts of helping others. Service projects throughout the year enable children to live out their Christian faith in meaningful ways.

On Sunday mornings from September through May at 9:35 St. Philip’s provides Sunday school classes for children 3 years old through 5th grade. Children are encouraged to worship with their families at either the 8:30 or 10:30 am worship service.

Each Sunday school classroom has at least two adults volunteers who teach the students each Sunday morning.

We currently are using the SPARK curriculum out of Augsberg Fortress. SPARK is a fun, hands ons, easy to teach curriculum that keeps both children and teachers engaged.
